Welcome back I have new topic today with the title of Behaviour and Body Language in Retail.
Let's understand what will be our behavior in retail store while working hours or non working hours. So first will talk about non working hours because we start a day from non working hours or you can say it non productive hours so in these hours what we do ?
Below are some work or duties which we have to do in these hours.
1:- whenever you entered in store or your work place just change your uniform and wear the approved uniform for this place , so once u will wear the same your duty will strat automatically.
2:- Now you have certain zone / section where you need to work or you need to update. So take a glance of that zone / section and then start working on the same.
3:- After update that zone / section with all required things then look on the other areas of store ,if anyone of your colleagues is not available check his / her section/ zone as well,so you and your store will be ready for customer.
4:- After updating your zone / section and store just groom yourself. Be presentable and professional.
Now when your senior or manager entered in store, he / she will find updated section and updated you. So his / her work will be more easy. He / She can think something extra for you and store .
Wait for a morning huddle or briefing so you can share your thoughts and suggestions in front of team , be active in morning briefing/ huddle, clear your doubts and issue if any.
Now I think you will get a plan for a the entire day so work accordingly.
Now comes "BODY LANGUAGE"
Body language is one of the most attractive things in retail , your posture of standing in retail store or attending while customer is noticeable. That little thing can work a lot ,
Below are some points which we can follow in our retail store .
1:- Keep smile always on your face - we all know that everyone likes a smiling face not a sad face .
2:-:Keep your hand in a welcoming posture -
By seeing these pictures whom you want to talk , just think yourself and reply yourself that how you are at your store . A person who is ready for you or a person who have no worry that you are there or not , actually it's effect a lot .
3:- Open Body posture:- So what is open Body posture when someone comes to you and asked for any assistance you beed to be there with a open body posture,
